A Family Affair

When Molly became engaged in 2013, she decided that she wanted a classic, vintage look for her wedding. She and her mother, Susan, and her sister, Jennifer, especially loved the old, beautiful, detailed china that had been in their family for generations. When they were unable to find this type of china to rent, they began their quest to collect their own!

One year and countless antique malls, estate sales, and resale shops later, they had collected enough mismatched, vintage china for 200 place settings. Molly and her husband, Collin had the wedding of their dreams under a white tent in her parent's yard. The china was exquisite and created a one-of-a-kind look for their perfect wedding.

After the wedding, the beautiful china remained packed away in its boxes. Molly, Susan and Jennifer couldn't bear to part with all of the unique plates they spent an entire year collecting; the plates that were such a focal part of Molly's wedding. They decided to start a rental business as an opportunity to share their dishes with brides hoping for the same look for their own wedding, and Chickadee Weddings was born!

Since that time, Chickadee Weddings has brought the classic, vintage china look to weddings, showers, and celebrations large and small in the Greater St. Louis area.
